The City of Chula Vista Fire Department is currently recruiting for its second permanent, full-time Fire Prevention Engineer position. Chula Vista is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation and San Diego County's second largest municipality.

This position will play a key role in the review process of complex architectural/engineering and life safety plans along with building construction inspections.  This mid-management position has safety benefits and has a 4% cost of living raise [COLA] in January 2008 [4% COLAs are also anticipated in both 2009/10].
