2. TREASURER'S REPORT: Ken Wagoner reports that the Charity Account balance is $15,826.37 and the General Account balance is $1,754.06.  All bills are paid.

3. FPO REPORT:  Sam Husoe was absent, FPO information is always available at: www.firepreventionofficers.org.

4. EDUCATION REPORT: The San Diego Fire Protection Association continues to sponsor the Fire Sprinkler Technology Seminar Series.  This is a monthly workshop-style seminar series intended for AHJ's, Plan Reviewers, Field Inspectors & Designers.

For the August 3rd, 2006 class, we will have a special Guest Instructor, Mr. Mark Fessenden from Tyco Fire Products. Mark will be discussing the recently completed major testing program designed and executed by Tyco which developed practical test data on sprinkler performance in various scenarios, with particular emphasis on High Pile storage and Residential installations.

7. PROGRAM:   President, Mike Moffat provided an informative overview of our Group's activites during the past year and outlined goals for the next year.

Goals for 2006 - 2007 include:

• Provide all Association communications via e-mail
• Re-format and update our Fire Dept. Surveys (see Mike if you are interested!)
• Revise and update format and content of our FPO Education Classes
• Increase Contractor participation
